THE SPIRIT MOVES IN COLOR
November 16, 2006, Pittsfield, MA: Hannah Anderson is not only the much-beloved rector at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Pittsfield, but an accomplished artist as well. A multi-faceted person, Hannah is appearing in a feature article, "The Spirit Moves in Color" in the December issue of The Artful Mind, the Berkshire's own magazine for and about artists. Her passion for her art and faith is evident in her comments on the creation of her paintings and in her discussion of how her art is so connected to her spiritual work. The founder of a not-for-profit company called The Blessing Cup, (www.theblessingcup.org), Rev. Anderson helps support children's charities in the area through the sale of her artwork and stationery line.
Rev. Anderson celebrated her first anniversary at St. Stephen's on November 14th, and has helped guide the parish in its many outreach programs for those less fortunate in the area. To see her with children is to witness her gift.
If you're looking for a reason to find true meaning in the holidays, this article begins the process. Read the December issue of The Artful Mind, and learn how thinking like an artist can help anyone adapt to the stresses of the holiday and life in general.
As she says, 'When we live with grateful hearts, we have more than enough.'
