You have received a handmade blessing cup.

I made each one individually during a prayer time.
First I shaped the clay. When it was dry, I painted it
with colors and burnished it with a river rock. After the first
firing in a kiln, I heated it again with a torch to bring out the colors and rubbed it
with special wax. Then I added beads for color and design. And I gave thanks.

It is yours now.
Perhaps you received it because you are a blessing to someone.
Perhaps the cup wants to be filled with words of blessing.
Perhaps the cup is to hold nothing but silence during a time of waiting.
Or you could give it away to someone who needs a tangible reminder of blessings.
Each day, take time to be still and count your blessings.
When we live with grateful hearts, we have more than enough.
